Na Kisi Ki Aankh Ka Noor Hoon Na Kisi Ke Dil Ka Qaraar Hoon
Kisi Kaam Mein Jo Na Aa Sake Main Vo Ek Musht-E-Ghubaar Hoon
Main Nahin Hoon Naghma- E-Jaan-Fizaa Koi Mujh Ko Sun Ke Kare Ga Kya
Main Bare Birog Ki Hoon Sadaa Main Bare Dukhi Ki Pukaar Hoon
Mera Bakht Mujh Se Bichhar Gaya Mera Rang-Roop Bigad Gaya
Jo Khizaan Men Baagh Ujar Gayaa Main Usi Ki Fasl-E-Bahaar Hoon
Pa e Faatiha Koi Aaye Kyon Koi Chaar Phool Chadhaye Kyon
Koyi Shama' La Ke Jalaaye Kyon Ki Main Be-Kasi Ka Mazar Hoon
Na Main ‘Muztar’ Un Ka Habeeb Hoon Na Main Muztar Un Ka Raqeeb Hoon
Jo Bigad Gaya Vo Naseeb Hoon Jo Ujar Gaya Vo Dayar Hoon

Note-
Some people attribute this ghazal to Bahadur Shah Zafar due to sorrow expressed in the poem, but in fact this ghazal is by Muztar. There is a manuscript of this ghazal written by Muztar Khairabadi himself. Javed Akhtar the grandson of Muztar has icluded the copy of this manuscript in “Khirman”, the collection of poetry of Muztar Khairabadi published in 2015. The poem has been recited by Farhan Akhtar, his great grandson on various functions including that of Rekhta Foundation.

For long we thought this remarkable ghazal was penned by Bahadur Shah'Zafar'. Would like to know how this issue was finally settled in favour of "Muztar".
